The scope of the project:
Construction of rainwater harvesting system, pipe network, water treatment plant, 900000 gallons capacity two steel water storage tanks. The rainwater harvesting portions of the project includes the construction of a catchment canopy system and two raw water storage tanks. The storage tanks will be 25.3 meters in diameter and 7.25 meters in sidewall height, with a combined storage capacity of approximately 6.8-million liters. Site improvements to the tank area include an access road, earthwork, and retaining wall structure.
The stored raw rain water in the tanks will be transferred via two (2) buried 80-mm diameter pipes from the storage tanks to the U.S diplomatic compound where it will be treated. All the required mechanical work including pipes and pumps procurement and installation have been performed within the scope of this task order. This task order also includes Improvements to Existing Water Treatment Process, Improvements to the Existing Potable Water Storage Reservoir, Water Reuse Process and Irrigation System Improvements, Roadway, Staff Parking Area and Storm Pond 2 Improvements and Modifications and Landscape Improvements.
